Blue Note Jazz Festival BIO
The Blue Note Jazz Festival is an esteemed annual multi-city music festival produced by the legendary Blue Note Records, celebrating the rich legacy of jazz and its related genres. Since its inception, the festival has featured a diverse lineup of world-class jazz artists, R&B legends, and contemporary music acts. Notable past performers include Robert Glasper, Norah Jones, and Herbie Hancock. The festival's flagship venue is the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City, but it also takes place at prestigious locations like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The festival will return to the Hollywood Bowl on June 14, 2026, marking another exciting chapter in its history. This venue has previously hosted various renowned artists as part of the festival, contributing to its reputation as a premier destination for live jazz performances. The atmosphere at the Hollywood Bowl is particularly vibrant, with fans enjoying the unique blend of outdoor ambiance and exceptional acoustics.
Venue and Seating Information
The Hollywood Bowl, located in Los Angeles, California, is a large outdoor amphitheater renowned for its stunning curved bowl layout and iconic band shell. With a capacity of approximately 17,500 seats, it is primarily used for concerts and cultural events. Fans appreciate the venue's design, which focuses on stage sightlines and acoustics rather than traditional sports seating arrangements.
Among the best seating options are the Garden Boxes and Terrace Boxes, which offer premium comfort and excellent views of the stage. Many fans recommend these sections for an enhanced experience. Conversely, some attendees suggest avoiding the farthest rear bench sections if close-up views are important, as they can detract from the overall experience.
Parking Information
Parking at the Hollywood Bowl is known to be extremely limited, with stacked parking that often sells out in advance. Fans are encouraged to utilize alternatives such as Park & Ride or rideshare services to avoid parking hassles. The venue advises arriving at least 90 minutes before the performance due to potential street closures around busy nights.
- Hollywood Bowl Lot A / Blue Lot: 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068 - Estimated price: $55 stacked parking; $90 valet.
- Hollywood Bowl Lot B / Green Lot: 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068 - Accessible parking available at $55.

```Blue Note Jazz Festival Inglewood reviews
Carrie Underwood was amazing!!!
Blue Note Jazz Festival's show at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia SC was amazing!! I got the tickets last week for my wife for our 2nd anniversary back in April. The opening acts were really good too. They performed for over 2 hours and sang about 20 songs. Blue Note Jazz Festival was on another level. We had floor "seats" and were about 10-15 feet from the stage. They put on an awesome show. They sound just like they do on a CD and they are just as beautiful in person. Definitely one of the best concerts I have ever been to. She was totally surprised by the way. Blue Note Jazz Festival's energy was off the charts. Me and my wife had a blast.
